Surbiton Raceway
Surbiton Raceway opened in 1962 as a full club circuit, above left, offering professional racing conditions to both the public and club members.
The professional circuit (right, top) has a tarmac surface incorporating two straights, five right hand and two left bends. Measuring approximately 700m and with a rise of some 20ft at the paddock end the pro karts can obtain speeds of up to 68 mph.
Junior Cadet Track (right, middle) for children of 6 years to 11 years old.
The circuit contains a reception and driver briefing area, viewing patio and Surbiton Town Sports Club, (right, bottom) an on site watering hole offering refreshments.
