- 01The circuit is open seven days a week throughout the year, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
- 02Monday, Tuesday - 10am to 5pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 12pm to 8pm Saturday - 10am to 7pm Sunday - 10am to 5pm
- 03Please wear training shoes or similar. No sandals, crocs or sliders allowed We advise loose comfortable clothes that may be worn under the race suit.
- 04No, you do not need a driving licence to race. Every driver receives a full safety video briefing and instruction on how to operate the karts.
- 05No, any person under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances will not be permitted to drive.
- 06Yes – although children must be always supervised. Please note that dogs are only permitted on a lead at the circuits at any time.
- 07Yes – There are different age restrictions on our tracks. • Bambino – 4 to 7 years of age. • Junior cadet– 8 to 12 years of age. Minimum height 130cms. • Main track– 12 years and above. Minimum height 150cms.
- 08Main track: 50mph. Youth and Family session: 30mph. Cadet track: 25mph. Bambino: 5mph
- 09BIZ 200cc (Youth and Family Sessions) , 4 stroke engines governed. SODI 270CC (Minimun 15 Years Old) . 4 stroke engines, ungoverned.
- 10Main track 450m, Cadet track 300m.
- 11Main adult session: 14 Drivers Youth and Family session: 12 Drivers Cadet track: 8 Drivers Bambino: 4 Drivers Children's Birthday Parties may differ.
- 12Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. These spaces have been reserved specifically for you and therefore we would be unable to fill these slots All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- 13No All drivers must arrive 30 minutes before their track time. All events commence with a mandatory safety video briefing. If you miss the briefing, you cannot race. We do not refund race fees for late arrivals.
- 14If you have them, you are more than welcome to bring your own. However both items are compulsory. Gloves are £2.50 a pair and balaclavas are £3.50 each. Both can be purchased from the reception office.
- 15Drivers may supply their own safety equipment, but it must be approved by the Race Director. Helmets and any other equipment must be to the appropriate standard. Full face helmets with a visor must be used. Surbiton Raceway does not accept any liability for any loss of such equipment, or any injury caused where the driver’s own safety equipment may have contributed to the injury.
- 16All bookings must be made in advance via our online booking system on our website.
- 17The circuit will operate in all conditions other than severe snow/fog.
- 18Yes, there is free parking.
- 19Yes, all drivers must be registered for the event prior to arrival at the venue.
- 20Yes. Surbiton Raceway does not provide helments with go pro adapters. If you are wearing your own helment, you are more than welcome to use one.
- 21Unfortunately NOT due to our insurance policy.
- 22An unrestricted Youth session is for experienced drivers aged 12-14. A driver MUST race in at least 3 RESTRICTED youth sessions to gain the experience needed for the unrestricted karts. Unrestricted Karts are Sodi 270cc 50mph go kart. No Adults will be allowed to race on a unrestricted youth session. Only available for 12 - 14 years old.
- 23Drivers MUST of raced for at least 3 sessions on a RESTRICTED Youth and Family Session. A 30 second or less lap time on a RESTRICTED Youth and Family session is needed in order to meet the required skill. Experienced is based on: - Track Discipline - Knowledge of racing flags - Lap time - Steering - Racing line - Speed - Overtaking Once you have proven that you've meet these requirements, you will then qualify for a Surbiton Raceway Race License which will allow you do drive the Adults UNRESTRICTED karts.
- 24No, as per company policy, no refunds will be granted once a booking has been made.
