  • ARE WE OPEN ALL YEAR?
    The circuit is open seven days a week throughout the year, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
  • WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?
    Monday - Tuesday - 10am to 6pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 11am to 7pm Saturday - 10am to 6pm Sunday - 10am to 5pm
  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
    Please wear training shoes or similar. We advise loose comfortable clothes that may be worn under the race suit.
  • DO I NEED A DRIVING LICENCE?
    No, you do not need a driving licence to race. Every driver receives a full safety video briefing and instruction on how to operate the karts.
  • CAN I DRINK ALCOHOL BEFORE I DRIVE?
    No, any person under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances will not be permitted to drive.
  • ARE SPECTATORS ALLOWED?
    Yes – although children must be always supervised. Please note that dogs are only permitted on a lead at the circuits at any time.
  • ARE THERE ANY AGE OR HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS FOR RACING?
    Yes – There are different age restrictions on our tracks. Bambino – 4 to 7 years of age. Junior cadet– 8 to 12 years of age. Minimum height 130cms. Main track– 12 years and above. Minimum height 150cms.
  • WHAT IS THE SPEED OF THE KARTS?
    Main track: 50mph. Junior/family session: 30mph. Cadet track: 25mph. Bambino: 5mph
  • WHAT TYPE OF KARTS DO YOU RUN?
    BIZ 200cc (Youth and Family Sessions) , 4 stroke engines governed. SODI 270CC (Minimun 15 Years Old) . 4 stroke engines, ungoverned.
  • WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE TRACKS?
    Main track 450m, Cadet track 300m.
  • HOW MANY KARTS ARE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK AT ANY ONE TIME?
    Main adult session: 14 Drivers Junior/family session: 12 Drivers Cadet track: 8 Drivers Bambino: 4 Drivers Children's Birthday Parties may differ.
  • WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. These spaces have been reserved specifically for you and therefore we would be unable to fill these slots
  • CAN I ARRIVE LATE FOR A RACE EVENT?
    No All drivers must arrive 45 minutes before their track time. All events commence with a mandatory safety video briefing. If you miss the briefing, you cannot race. We do not refund race fees for late arrivals.
  • DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN GLOVES/BALACLAVAS?
    Both items are compulsory. Gloves are £2.50 a pair and balaclavas are £3.50 each. Both can be purchased from the reception office.
  • CAN I WEAR MY OWN SAFETY EQUIPMENT?
    Drivers may supply their own safety equipment, but it must be approved by the Race Director. Helmets and any other equipment must be to the appropriate standard. Full face helmets with a visor must be used. Surbiton Raceway does not accept any liability for any loss of such equipment, or any injury caused where the driver’s own safety equipment may have contributed to the injury.
  • CAN I JUST TURN UP AND RACE?
    All bookings must be made in advance via our online booking system on our website.
  • DO THE CIRCUITS OPERATE IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS?
    The circuit will operate in all conditions other than severe snow/fog.
  • ARE CAR PARKING FACILITIES AVAILABLE?
    Yes, there is free parking.
  • DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR MY EVENT BEFORE I ARRIVE ?
    Yes, all drivers must be registered for the event prior to arrival at the venue.
