TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE:
All bookings MUST be made online in advance and every driver MUST complete their driver registration prior to arrival time.
All Main Track drivers must be 12 years and older and a minimum 1.5m tall.
All Cadet drivers must be aged 8 years and older and must be a minimum of 1.3m tall.
All Bambino Drivers and Riders must be 4 years and older.
Any driver aged under 15 years old, must have an adult over the age of 18 to sign them in. Any drivers under 16 years old without an adult present, will be unable to race.
Drivers MUST wear sensible shoes, i.e., trainers. Open toe footwear, Crocs and high heels are NOT ALLOWED!
UPON ARRIVAL
You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your event track time to ensure that we have enough time to get everyone signed in and fully kitted up with their race wear.
Fully sanitised personal race suits and helmets are provided, in a variety of sizes.
All drivers will receive a safety briefing prior to driving.
Please note, that we only allow full faced helmets, should drivers wish to bring their own. These must be checked by a senior member of staff.
It is mandatory for every driver to have a gloves and balaclava. These can be added at the time of booking for £6.00 per person. These are then yours to take away and reuse for future visits.
RED FLAG POLICY
In case of a red flag being deployed on track, cause by you as a driver that has been involved in a incident, Surbiton Raceway has the right to refuse getting you back out on track for safety reasons. NO REFUND will be giving if the red flag incident is cause by you.
If the red flag was cause by another driver, management will make the decision to allow you back on track based on your injuries.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Payments are non-refundable and the booking cannot be changed or transferred to a new date or time unless Surbiton Raceway are unable to run your event. Surbiton Raceway reserve the right to cancel the event if we do not receive payments prior to the respective dates.
STUDENT DISCOUNT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For the student discount to be valid, on arrival you must present an up to date form of Student ID for College, University or Sixth Form.
Failing to present this, you will be charged full price for your session.
As Karting is a motorsport, persons with heart problems, epilepsy or other conditions which may be affected by exertion (including pregnancy) are advised not to participate in Karting at Surbiton Raceway
Under no circumstances are alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances allowed on the premises. You will not be allowed to take part in an event if you have, or appear to have, consumed such substances.
Surbiton Raceway has the right to terminate, without notice your activity if your behaviour or that of any member in the booking is deemed as unsafe, violent, likely to cause damage, distress or annoyance to other clients, employees, property, or anyone else. In this instance we will not be liable for any refunds, compensation, or expenses. Being under the influence of drink or drugs is strictly forbidden by Surbiton Raceway and staff have the right to remove you from the event if they have any suspicion that you are under such influence. In this situation we will not be liable for any refunds, compensation, or expenses.
Please note: Particularly tall, short, or heavier drivers may have problems fitting into the karts. We recommend a maximum height of 6’5” and a maximum weight of 20 stone.
Surbiton Raceway have the right to remove any driver that is driving dangerously slow, to the point that they are a danger to themselves or any other driver on the track.
